The Colored Rays of Light through the Children’s Eyes
The goal of the competition is to help children and young people to:
find the magic of digital graphics and drawing
draw the world through their eyes
share their feelings and emotions
make us feel the power of their imagination

The goal of the competition is to help children and young people to:
find the magic of digital graphics and drawing
draw the world through their eyes
share their feelings and emotions
make us feel the power of their imagination
I. Requirements for the Drawings:
1.They must be created on a graphic editor of choice (such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel DRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Paint, Corel Painter Classic, Macromedia Free Hand etc.)
2.There should not be any pictures already published or drawn by somebody else
II. Requirements for the Collages
1. They must be created on editor of choice;
2. They must consist of one or more photographic images combined with text, pictures or other artistic elements.
III. Each work taking part in the competition must be presented:
1. On paper (A4/ A3)- mounted (passepartouted) size 25*35 or 50*70
2. The works must be accompanied by the following information:
- Work Title
- Full name of the Author
- Birth date
- Accurate Address
- School
- Teacher (Tutor)
- E-mail Address
- Name of the program product on which it is created
IV. Participation rights in the competition have all students and young people between 4 and 27 years old distributed in 8 groups
4 - 5 years – Group 1
6 - 7 years – Group 2
8 - 10 years – Group 3
11 - 12 years – Group 4
13 - 14 years - Group 5
15 - 17 years - Group 6
18 - 27 years - Group 7
Children in special educational need - Group 8
Evaluation criteria:
Drawings:
A clear and well-crafted message; thematic orientation towards specific problems, which have wide public response; showing originality; showing critical thinking; showing creativity;
Picturesqueness of the work; precise freehand drawing; color matching and color developing; composition; selection and positioning of objects; story; showing imagination; using various programs in accordance with the age;
Collages:
A clear and well-crafted message; thematic orientation towards specific problems, which have wide public response; showing originality; showing critical thinking; showing creativity;
Well-focused objects of drawing, smooth transition between them;
Complexity of work:
V. Final date for receiving the drawings - April 13th - 2018
Drawings already published on paper, Internet, etc. will not be allowed in the competition
Drawings that do not correspond the above mentioned limits will not be rated
Participants in the competition accept that theit works can be used and printed on all kinds of materials published by community centre “Zarya-1858” and all competition materials remain in the database of community centre “Zarya-1858”
Results are going to be published on 30 April-2018
Collages must consist of photos or drawings A4/A3 format.
VI. Will be distributed among the 1st 2nd and 3rd prize winners in each group. There will also be encouraging prizes
An exhibition with all drawings will be prepared for 4th to 15th May-2018
